Join us for International Women’s Day!
The celebration is part of an international effort to promote gender equality. This year’s theme is #EachforEqual, encouraging every individual person to take responsibility for our own thoughts and actions.
“We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world. Let’s all be #EachforEqual.” — from the International Women’s Day officially website.
Our IWD event will include a panel discussion with some of the Kenosha communities most influential women, a book sale by all female authors and with themes of feminism and women empowerment, and a performance by the local female trio Violet Wilder.
A cash bar will be available.
